Whole and Half Hogs
All hogs are available by the half and whole animal.
Our pork is $8/lb based on the hanging weight.
The hanging weight for whole hogs typically range from 140 to 180 lbs - half a hog from 70 to 90 lbs.

Our Types of Pork
Purebred Tamworth Pork
The Tamworth is appreciated as a great bacon hog due to its deep sides and ability to grow large without putting on too much extraneous fat. It's meat is lean and flavorful. While it is the leanest of the pork we offer it still has much more intramuscular fat than a commercial hog and thus remains moist and flavorful while cooking.
Tamworth-Berkshire Cross Pork
We cross our Berkshire sows on our Tamworth boar for pork that is just a little bit leaner than a purebred Berkshire. While we stumbled upon this cross almost by accident we have since learned this was a popular cross in the 1800's. Tamworth-Berkshire cross pork is the most popular at our farmer's markets.
Roasters?
Sorry, due to the expense of harvest at a USDA facility capable of scalding and de-hairing we do not offer suckling or roaster hogs.
